Jack in the pool!

Sorry it has been such a long time since my last blog... my bad! Anyway, I set up the pool for Jack today and he had a great time! Thought I'd share the pics with y'all! Some of them are pretty good. ENJOY!

Here is Jack at the end of pool time... He was ready to go in.

Here is what is now lovingly known as "Lake Jack." He stood on the egde of the pool and all of the water came running out onto the patio and into the grass. Cosms was apparently very thirsty. This was very sad for me personally because I made 7 trips or so from the bathroom to get some warm water so it wouldn't be too cold for Jack.

Here is Cosmo jumping up on my lap when he sees I have the camera.

Jack turned on the water outside and made his own little water fountain. He has a lot of fun with that!

Here's the end of a good action shot! He was jumping around in the water like a little froggy... so cute.

Jack had such a good time! I'm glad I set it up for him today, even though it wasn't super warm!

Meet Cosmo!

Meet Cosmo! He's the newest addition to our family. Foster has been begging for a dog forever... so here he is! He's a very sweet little dog, but he's not potty trained yet and I am totally getting sick of him doing his "business" on my new carpet! But, Jack and Foster both love him tons... I am getting used to him.

Jack's 2nd Birthday!

So, Jack had a wonderful birthday! He got spoiled rotten and had so much fun with all of his family around. I keep forgetting that I need to upload these pictures backwards so they go in order. So, they're backwards, but I think everyone gets what I was trying to accomplish here! Enjoy!

We bought a Costco cake for his birthday. It was very yummy... and very big. And hey, if anyone reading this decides they want some cake please come over and eat it!

Mowing the lawn

Foster and I have started working on the lawn at our house. Nothing huge, just a little bit at a time. Jack had so much fun being outside while daddy mowed the lawn and I thought it was precious... so here you go!

Here's my little man just chillin' in the backyard. He loves all the space he has to run around in!

Now, he sees me with the camera and has to come check out the situation. He's kind of a ham. Wonder where he got that from?

Easter

Here's Jack after his easter egg hunt. He got lots of good candy. Yummers!

So, here it is. After all this time, I finally managed to get a picture of our house up!! Sorry it took so stinkin' long, but what can I say... I am very flaky! Anyway, we really love it and it's starting to come together, slowly but surely. One step at a time, people... one step at a time.

Our Day at the Zoo

No need to panic here folks... the zebra laying down in the background is just taking a nap, although he did have me questioning that for about 30 seconds. He was very still.

Jack thought all the fishies were very cool, and it was one of the 2 animals that he didn't call "doggy".

This is by some kind of pig like animals. I'm not sure what they are called, but they are some unfortunate looking things.

Here are Jack and myself by the polar bear... of course, Jack called him "doggy" as well.

Spaghetti night

We decided to have spaghetti for dinner the other night, and I took some good pictures of Jack. He has had spaghetti before, but he actually tried to use a fork this time. I think the pictures speak for themselves... ENJOY!

This picture was such a fluke! It was a momentary thing, but he looks so posed and fantastic!

Some good pictures

So I know I haven't posted any new pics, and I am very soory for that! I still haven't been able to find the cord that connects my camera to the computer (I'm still unpacking people... cut me some slack!) Anyway, I though I'd put some pictures up just to tide y'all over until I get my act together.

So this one is from the beach last summer. Jack loved it. He really liked the water and the sand and was plenty messy by the time we left.

I don't know if anyone saw this, but this is one my mother-in-law took of Jack and I. I bought a nice frame and gave it to Foster as a Christmas gift. He really liked it and took it to work so he could show Jack off. Anyway, it's clear who he looks like in this picture, and it ain't me!

We're finally in our house! WOO-HOO!!

I know this is a few weeks late, but cut me some slack here. And I have no pictures yet, but I promise I will get them. Anyway, we are loving our new house. I was worried about Jack not feeling comfortable, but that quickly went away as he is definitely comfortable enough to make a huge mess in any room. He knows which room is his and knows where all of the noisy stuff is in the kitchen, so he's good to go! I promise I'l get pictures up soon!

Time Out!

Okay, most kids would tremble in fear when threatened with the question... "do you want to go to time out?" Right? How come my son laughs at me and thinks it's a game?? I keep my serious face on the whole time, but he just thinks it's funny. whenever daddy does it though, he knows it's not a good thing. This picture is from his very fist time out... he wasn't a fan!
