I was looking through some of the pictures I have taken this summer, and realized that I have a bunch of Jack asleep in wierd places or positions. He stopped taking naps about 5 months ago, so some days he is tired early and just poops out wherever he lands! Seriously good stuff...
We have had so much going on lately, so I thought I would take the chance to play catch up while Wyatt is sleeping and Jack is playing quietly... because it's rare!
First off, we took a trip to Tillamook because my dad lives there and spent a day at the beach and went to the firehouse where my dad volunteers. We had a good time, and Jack loved playing with Grandpa in the freezing cold water and on the firetruck!
We also went to the fair this summer and Jack rode a pony and we watched the Demolition Derby. It would have been much more fun if it wasn't like 95 degrees outside... BLEH!
There are also just some really good pictures from hanging out this summer with my boys that I would love to share... seriously good stuff.
We are really trying to buckle down and get this potty training thing done once and for all. I decided that I am sick of giving Jack candy every time he goes potty. So, I decided that I would make him a chart and he could put a sticker on it every time he went on the toilet. I went to the store last night and bought some poster board and CARS stickers and stayed up late using my Cricut (shout out to the mother-in-law for one of my favorite gifts of all time) and made him this little board. He really likes the idea and is having fun with it! So, hopefully it works and I will only have 1 child in diapers very, VERY soon!
It has been so long since I posted anything... almost 1 year! Wyatt is here and 4 months old already. Jack is already 3! I have lots of fun pics... so I will just post them and get things up to date... as much as I possibly can.
Sorry it has been such a long time since my last blog... my bad! Anyway, I set up the pool for Jack today and he had a great time! Thought I'd share the pics with y'all! Some of them are pretty good. ENJOY!
Here is Jack at the end of pool time... He was ready to go in. Here is what is now lovingly known as "Lake Jack." He stood on the egde of the pool and all of the water came running out onto the patio and into the grass. Cosms was apparently very thirsty. This was very sad for me personally because I made 7 trips or so from the bathroom to get some warm water so it wouldn't be too cold for Jack.
Here is Cosmo jumping up on my lap when he sees I have the camera.
Jack turned on the water outside and made his own little water fountain. He has a lot of fun with that!
Here's the end of a good action shot! He was jumping around in the water like a little froggy... so cute.
Here is Cosmo trying to eat the pool, and lick all the water off the edge. Stupid dog!
Jack had such a good time! I'm glad I set it up for him today, even though it wasn't super warm!
Meet Cosmo! He's the newest addition to our family. Foster has been begging for a dog forever... so here he is! He's a very sweet little dog, but he's not potty trained yet and I am totally getting sick of him doing his "business" on my new carpet! But, Jack and Foster both love him tons... I am getting used to him.
